Barnes Company LLC, doing business as SupplyShield ("SupplyShield," "we," "us"), provides supply quality filtration for programmatic advertising, including Verified Marketplace deals and the SupplyShield ID exclusion segment. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
From visitors to this website
When you visit supplyshield.id, our hosting provider may automatically log standard request data (IP address, user agent, referrer, and request path) for security, performance, and abuse prevention. We do not add analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels to this site. Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, adds its own traffic measurement script to the pages it hosts, which collects standard request and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. That data is handled under GoDaddy's privacy practices.
From people who contact us
When you email us or schedule a demo, we receive the contact information you provide (name, email address, company, role, and any other details you share). We use this information solely to respond and to manage the resulting business relationship.
From the programmatic ecosystem
Our filtering technology runs inside partner platforms, where it evaluates bid request signals to identify invalid, fabricated, and low-quality traffic.
SupplyShield ID is built from signals about advertising identifiers (MAIDs, IDFAs, EIDs, and similar) observed in bidstream data, public threat intelligence, and partner data feeds. The segment itself contains identifiers, not names, contact information, or other directly identifying personal data. Where applicable law treats these identifiers as personal data (for example, under GDPR or CPRA), we process them under appropriate legal bases, including legitimate interest in fraud prevention.
From customers
Customers may send us post-buy findings, such as flagged domains, apps, and devices. We use those findings only to optimize that customer's own deals.
How we use information
- To operate our filtering technology and Verified Marketplace deals
- To apply customer-provided findings to that customer's own deals
- To build, maintain, and update the SupplyShield ID exclusion segment
- To distribute the segment to our DMP and SSP partners for activation by their customers
- To respond to inquiries and manage commercial relationships
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and abuse in advertising supply chains
- To comply with legal obligations
Sharing
We share information with:
- Distribution partners. The SupplyShield ID segment is shared with DMP and SSP partners (including Eyeota, LiveRamp, PubMatic, OpenX, Index Exchange, and Media.net) so it can be activated downstream.
- Service providers. Vendors who help us host, store, and process data under contracts that require appropriate confidentiality and security.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
We do not sell personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the processing of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
Mobile device users can reset or limit advertising identifiers through their device settings (Apple "Limit Ad Tracking" / Google "Reset Advertising ID"). Browser users can manage cookies through browser settings.
Data retention
We retain identifier data in the SupplyShield ID segment only for as long as it remains a useful fraud signal. Identifiers are aged out as their predictive value decays. Business contact information is retained for the duration of our relationship and a reasonable period thereafter.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No security measure is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
SupplyShield is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., information about you may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website.
